About Us
BRIEF HISTORY
Fanawin was founded from a Feeding Center that was established to feed hungry and malnourished children and people during the Liberian Civil War in May 1991. Concern International, an NGO was the sponsor of the feeding program. Our founders Mr. Sam C. Wuo and Madam Genneh-ba Massaquoi begin study classes at the feeding center, and with the growing number of children/students at the center, there was a need to create a school. Fanawin was established and the school has been providing educational and social support to underprivilege children for 20 years.
